- Setting up activities and games for entertainment, aimed at building self-esteem, learning, and just having fun
- Exposing our children and families to a different culture
- Help with afternoon activities, assisting with cooking, or helping them out with homework
- Provide, education lessons for older children to help them prepare for school
- Provide essential support
- Teach impoverished children important skills such as hygiene practices
- Provide early childhood teaching
- Teaching basic classes, for example, teaching them colors, shapes, numbers
