Education
1,354 girls receive education through our scholarship program.
Built two classrooms at Silver Springs Secondary School that are serving more than 180 vulnerable students.
Empowered 213 Kibera slum girls in sports (rugby, swimming and football)
Provided back to school provisions to more than 826 vulnerable girls in Kibera Slums, and full school uniform to more than 200.
695 women, who lacked basic literacy and numeracy skills, were enrolled in our Adult Literacy Program to provide them the necessary education and certifications required to move forward in the job market.
72 caregivers trained on parental role in Early Childhood Education.
Established three vocational training centers, serving 356 teen mums and young women for the girls and give them the opportunity to learn different skills.
1,724 children in Samburu, Kisii, Kibera and Mathare Slums, have directly benefitted from our food program to combat malnutrition – with through 2 meals daily.
1,566 participants reached with protection and education program interventions.
Set up three day-cares helping 320 babies of 2 – 6 years in Kibera and Mathare, previously lost in fire outbreaks across these communities .
More than 40,000 children in government schools also benefited from our feeding program.

340 expectant women offered and accepted counseling and testing for HIV and received test results.
21,531 vulnerable women and children in slums benefited from our free medical camps (primary health & preventative care, child immunizations, HIV care, family planning, dental screening, and child nutrition).
Supported 268 women self help groups in income generating projects.
7,609 women trained on entrepreneurship, qualified for voluntary savings and loans benefits, helped in businesses set up.
182 young women got jobs in partner organizations.
Five livelihood and resilience programmes implemented in Machakos, Samburu, Bungoma, Migori, Kisii, Mathare, Kayole and Kibera Slums that has touched 1800 beneficiaries.
5,690 trees planted to improve the environment of the communities we are serving.
20 Water, sanitation, and hygiene community education campaigns in homes, schools and hospitals conducted, that has touched more than 15,500 lives.
Hand washing stations to 15 schools and public stations in Kibera, Kayole, Mukuru Kwa Njenga and Mathare to improve hygiene for 2,700 children.
720 teen mums participated in our monthly mentorship programs to learn about reproductive health, their bodies, their self-worth, finances, how to be independently successful, and good parental care.
