About the program

She Has the Strength… But Not the Opportunity Every day along Kenya’s coast, thousands of women wake up with dreams—to feed their children, to educate their daughters, to build something of their own. But poverty, lack of access to skills, and limited opportunities keep those dreams just out of reach. This is where you come in. As a Women’s Economic & Entrepreneurial Empowerment Assistant you are not just volunteering… You are restoring dignity, igniting hope, and unlocking futures Your Mission: Turn Struggle Into Strength You will stand beside women who have been overlooked for far too long and help them rise by: - Teaching entrepreneurship and small business skills that create real income - Guiding women in financial literacy, savings, and microfinance empowerment - Helping transform simple ideas into sustainable businesses - Supporting marketing, branding, and sales strategies for local products - Introducing digital entrepreneurship skills (social media, mobile money, online selling) - Mentoring women to rediscover confidence, independence, and leadership Your knowledge becomes their power. Your time becomes their turning point.you can spport any of these areas - Mombasa – Where vibrant markets meet deep-rooted economic challenges - Kilifi County– Where rural women are ready to rise with the right support - Malindi – Where hope is waiting to be turned into opportunity A Journey That Will Change You Too Between your life-changing work, you will experience: - Healing moments by the Indian Ocean’s calm, cooling breeze - Cultural walks through Mombasa Old Town filled with history and soul - The warmth of Swahili dishes—rich, flavorful, and shared with love - Sunsets that remind you why purpose and humanity matter You will arrive as a volunteer… and leave transformed. We are calling you if you feel this in your heart: - A deep passion for women empowerment in Africa - Interest in entrepreneurship, economic development, and social impact - A desire to create real, lasting change in communities - The courage to step into a new culture and serve with empathy and purpose You don’t need perfection. You need compassion. The Impact You Will Leave Behind Because of you: - A mother starts her first business - A girl stays in school because her family can now afford it - A woman gains the courage to say, I can provide. I can lead. - A community begins to break the cycle of poverty This is not small. This is generational change. Apply now and become part of a mission that truly matters.
