About the program

Join our teaching program in the heart of Samburu County, northern Kenya. Work alongside local teachers in community primary schools to support children aged 5-14 with literacy, numeracy, and creative learning. Samburu is one of Kenya's most remote and culturally rich regions, home to semi-nomadic pastoralist communities. Many children here have limited access to quality education due to the vast distances between villages and schools. As a teaching volunteer, you'll help bridge this gap while experiencing an extraordinary cultural immersion that few travelers ever get to see.
