3. Upon finishing your online or onsite volunteer engagement, UCESCO Africa will provide you with an official recommendation letter & a Certificate of Appreciation/Recognition in acknowledgment of your time.
4. Our project site offers a dynamic environment where your contributions can have a significant impact. UCESCO - Africa boasts a perfect safety record, and we are committed to upholding this standard
5. The volunteering commitment is between 3-4 hours, which provides ample time for pursuing extra projects, learning new languages, or exploring the local area. You can rotate as many projects as you can

Immerse yourself in Samburu culture while supporting community development initiatives. In the remote and breathtaking landscapes of Samburu County, life is shaped by resilience—but also by deep-rooted challenges. Many families face extreme poverty, limited access to education, gender inequality, and the growing impact of climate change. 1. For young girls, the dream of education is often cut short by early marriage. 2. For women, opportunities for financial independence remain limited. 3. For children, access to basic needs and protection is not always guaranteed. Yet, within these communities lies untapped potential, strength, and hope The Samburu Community Empowerment & Development Program by UCESCO Africa is committed to restoring dignity, creating opportunities, and building sustainable futures for vulnerable women, children, and youth.
