About the program

Use Your Lens to Give a Voice to the Unheard Across the vast, sunlit plains of Samburu County, located in Kenya, Africa there are stories that the world has never truly seen—stories of quiet resilience, of girls fighting for education, of women rising beyond hardship, and of communities striving for dignity against all odds. Yet, without powerful storytelling, these realities remain invisible. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Impact Storytellers (Video & Documentary Creators) to help us transform real human experiences into compelling visual narratives that can reach hearts across the world—and inspire meaningful action. This role is not just about filming. It is about witnessing honoring, and amplifying lives that deserve to be seen and supported. As a volunteer, you will help us: - Document true stories of transformation, resilience, and hope - Reveal the ongoing challenge facing women, children, and youth - Create powerful documentary content that drives awareness and fundraising - Build emotional connections between the Samburu community and global supporters Your work will directly support initiatives focused on: - Girls’ education and protection - Women’s empowerment and economic independence - Child welfare and community development Your Key Responsibilities - Produce high-quality documentary videos and impact stories - Conduct and film **sensitive, respectful interviews - Capture authentic moments of daily life, culture, and community programs - Edit and package content for **campaigns, donor engagement, and digital platforms - Collaborate with local teams to ensure **ethical, dignified storytelling Many stories in the Samburu people community remain unheard—not because they lack importance, but because they lack a platform. By documenting truth with integrity and compassion, you will help unlock: - Global awareness - Sustainable fundraising opportunities - Long-term impact for entire communities What You Will Experience This is a deeply human journey—one that will challenge, inspire, and transform you. You will experience: - Meaningful connections with resilient individuals and families - The rich cultural heritage of the Samburu community - Moments of both hardship and hope that will stay with you for a lifetime - The fulfillment of knowing your skills are contributing to real change A Call Beyond Volunteering** This is more than a role. It is a responsibility. - To stand in the space between silence and awareness. - To ensure that stories of courage are not lost. - To turn lived experiences into powerful calls for change. If you believe stories can change the world, then this is where your work begins. Join us. Document truth. Inspire action. Help transform lives.
