This program is designed to support early learning centers, daycare facilities, and community schools where resources are limited but the need for care, attention, and quality education is high Your Role as a Volunteer As a childcare and early childhood volunteer, you will play a meaningful role in shaping young minds during their most important developmental years. Your responsibilities may include: 1. Feeding them and caring for their basic needs. 2. Help with afternoon activities, assisting with cooking, or helping them out with homework 3. Improve their future prospects and help them break the poverty cycle by supplying quality early childhood teaching 4. Assisting local teachers in early childhood classrooms 5. Supporting basic learning activities such as reading, writing, and storytelling 6. Organizing creative activities including art, music, games, and outdoor play 7. Promoting hygiene, nutrition, and positive behavior among children 8. Providing emotional support and care to children in a safe environment 9. Helping with daily routines in daycare centers Why Early Childhood Development Matters The early years of a child’s life are critical for brain development, social skills, and emotional well-being.
