About the program

In many underserved communities across Nairobi and Samburu County, schools, children’s homes, and hospitals struggle with limited resources—often lacking even the most basic aesthetic care. Walls fade, environments feel neglected, and spaces meant to inspire hope lose their warmth. At UCESCO Africa, we believe that **color has the power to heal, inspire, and transform lives. We are calling on passionate and creative volunteers from around the world—artists, painters, decorators, muralists, and interior design enthusiasts—to join us in bringing life, dignity, and joy back into these vital community spaces. A painted wall is more than decoration—it is hope restored - A bright classroom motivates children to learn and dream - A colorful children’s home creates comfort and belonging - A welcoming hospital environment promotes emotional healing Your creativity can turn dull, forgotten spaces into **vibrant centers of positivity and inspiration** for vulnerable communities. As a volunteer, you will actively contribute to: - Painting and renovating classrooms, dormitories, and wards - Creating murals and wall art that educate and inspire - Assisting with interior decoration and space transformation - Collaborating with local communities and fellow volunteers - Sharing creative ideas to improve learning and healing environments Whether you are a professional or simply passionate about art and design, your hands and heart are enough to make a difference. Beyond your volunteer work, you will experience the beauty and culture of Kenya: - Explore the vibrant city life of Nairobi - Discover the unique landscapes and rich traditions of Samburu County - Connect with local communities and fellow changemakers - Create memories that will last a lifetime - The Impact You Leave Behind Long after you leave, your work will continue to: - Inspire children every day they walk into their classrooms - Comfort patients during their recovery - Restore dignity and pride within communities You are not just painting walls—you are painting hope, dignity, and a brighter future. Join Us Today Be part of a movement that transforms lives through creativity. Your talent, time, and compassion can bring lasting change where it is needed most. Apply now and help us bring color to lives across Kenya.
