Because Only Together We Can

To build a path to sustainable growth for the most vulnerable populations

Who We Are

United Cultural Empowerment & Social Community Organization (UCESCO) is a charity organization, committed to increasingly and sustainably address poverty amongst vulnerable households located in informal settlements and rural villages in Africa. We focus more on vulnerable Girls and Women in these areas to Empower them, creating sustainable transformation in their communities.

We empower them, and link them with communities and work towards avenues that generate sustainable income. Bringing new opportunities to build schools, create cooperatives, form community savings schemes, fund micro-businesses, access healthcare, food security, raise school fees; aiming to permanently transform their lives, which will contribute towards the development of Africa as Continent to be a Center of excellence.

Families and individuals within these communities, desire change: they long for adequate food, good health, education, and a secure life. They feel hopeless in their current situation, but lack the knowledge and resources to change. They deserve to live a life free from poverty

Our Approach

LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS

One of the greatest qualities of high-achieving students is that they are often natural leaders amongst their peers. Such students are constantly looking for opportunities to contribute and give back, while growing as students and professionals in their fields. Arise, offers these leadership programs to facilitate those goals and help our youths gain as much experience leading the way as possible. We offer opportunities for high-achieving high school students to develop as leaders and ready themselves for a lifetime of service and success by placing them as interns in companies, organization’s and institutions.

03.

— Our Story

Kingsley Nyandika Kipros founded UCESCO Africa in 2010 in Rwanda, Gisagara District, in the Southern Province. A former English student at the National University of Rwanda, Miss Umutoniwase would recognize and invite him to visit her family; that was then being accommodated by her mother’s friend in a too small to be shared mud house
